After a few attempts I finally hit the final table of NPL (National Poker league) Quarterly Final this year. The tournament had two stages and I qualified for the final Day-2 at the Windsor RSL by surviving the Day-1 at the Petersham RSL.

| Feb-2019 NPL Quarterly's Final Table (Windsor RSL). (I am the oldest at 64 and only Asian among Whites.) |
I was so lucky during both days whenever I had a pocket pairs I ended up with a set mostly. I took out at least three guys with my sets of Q or K. Only at the final table I screwed up by shoving with pocket Twos after the Flop and the skinny bastard called me with a Gut Shot and he got what he wanted at the River. I finished at 8 and made only A$ 2,850.
The NPL TD was so impressed, when I told him I was eliminated in First Hour at last Quarterly Final, he posted "What an improvement, Harry!" with my photo on their NPL Face Book page. Since then I tried two more times so far but didn't make to the Final Table again. Hopefully next time.
