Basics Of My System and EA (Expert Adviser)

My system has following three basic components,
     (1) Signals Generator,
     (2) Orders Handler, and
     (3) Money Manager.

Signals Generator produces either BUY or SELL signal according to the CONDITION specified. The condition could be anything and as simple as 3 consecutive bars with -- Higher Highs and Higher Lows for a BUY (or) Lower Highs and Lower Lows for a SELL.

Orders Handler opens a BUY or SELL order When a signal is produced by the Signals Generator and If no opened-order exists.

Money Manager takes profit and closes an Opened-Order when the Take-Profit level is reached or broke through. It also cuts loss and closes an Opened-Order when the Stop-Loss level is reached or broke through.

(From my more than 15 years of trading index-futures one crucial fact I've learned is to correctly set the Take-Profit and Stop-Loss levels, and thus the Optimum Ratio between these two levels, according to the prevailing market. Right now my optimum levels for S&P 500 eMini CFD market are 4 index points and 8 index points for Stop-Loss and Take-Profit respectively.)

Two STOP-LOSSs from two SHORTs killed me today. Total loss of A$174, but I am still tiny bit ahead for this month of October so far. (a lousy 14 dollars.)

October 17, 2013 (S&P500 Emini Index CFD)

(Please click the chart to enlarge.)
Today was almost a perfect day. It always is for my system when the market goes one way up or down only. My system actually is a trend-catching software which also takes advantage of large whipsaws. It also minimizes losses in small whipsaws. Only in median sized whipsaws like 4-6 points ups and downs it gives me shit.

Today my EA made two Take-Profit LONGs which gave me $320 profit. I lost $10 in very last SHORT which was negligible.

October 17, 2013 (S&P500 Emini Index CFD) - Noon

(Please click the chart to enlarge.)
My first trade for today. A LONG and money-maker of A$160. Let's wait and see what'll happen rest of the day.

October 15, 2013 (S&P500 Emini Index CFD)

(Please click the chart to enlarge.)
Today was the worst possible day for my trading EA. Market did a perfect whipsaw on me and killed me. My EA did four trades all cut down by Stop-Losses and I had to stop the EA at 2 pm to avoid further losses. I lost all together A$364 today. Shit happens sometimes, luckily not all the times and I am still ahead for this month of October.

October 10, 2013 (S&P500 Emini Index CFD)

As usual my EA made three trades today, two LONGs and one SHORT. Today was a bouncing back day thus the LONGs were money-makers while the SHORT was a stop-loss. So I made only A$134 today.

October 9, 2013 (S&P500 Emini Index CFD)

(Please click the chart to enlarge.)
Another very good day due to high volatility because of ongoing US Government shut-down and rapidly approaching US Government default. My system made four trades and the only second trade SHORT did lose money but the rest making money. Altogether I made A$276 today.

Thank you very much to President Obama for letting the US Congress shut down his own government, idiot.

Month Of September, 2013 (S&P500 Emini Index CFD)

(Please click the chart to enlarge.)
For the month of September my automated-trading program made A$580 profit on the outlay of 1,000 dollars. 58% profit for a month is not a bad one at all even though I had more than 200% profit once last year. Let's wait and see what this month of October will bring.

October 4, 2013 (S&P500 Emini Index CFD)

(Please click the chart to enlarge.)
Just three trades as usual today. One SHORT and two LONGs. And I made $56 today, not bad.

October 3, 2013 (S&P500 Emini Index CFD)

(Please click on the chart to enlarge.)
Today was a disaster. My automated-trading-program made 5 trades too many. First one SHORT was a winner with $156 profit. But the second one LONG was a loser with negative $80. And third one SHORT was also a stop-loss with $100 loss.

Fourth one LONG was also a loser with negative $90 and the last and fifth one SHORT was a winner making tiny $10. So my total loss today was A$104 for the day. Maybe I still need to improve my computer-program.

So my loss for today was $70.
